orangeishpunkin asked: Which movie includes James McAvoy smacking Chris Pratt in the face with a keyboard?

It’s Wanted, which I ended up really liking regardless of how ridiculous it was. Hearing Morgan Freeman say “Shoot this muthafucka” made the whole thing worth it alone.

Holy shit, it’s Chris Pratt!

The events of Django Unchained begin in 1858. Dr. King Schultz says he quit dentistry 5 years ago to become a bounty hunter, but it isn’t mentioned why. The obvious answer, however, is that his wife, Paula, left him, and he was so devastated that he took up a profession he would never think about otherwise, the profession that would ultimately lead to his death in 1859. His former wife slowly realizes her mistake in leaving Dr. King, and after 6 years apart, seeks him out, only to find he’s been killed at the hands of Calvin Candie. Devastated, faulting herself, she never remarries, keeping her ex-husbands name, and finally dies, alone, in 1893, when she is buried in the Lonely Grave of Paula Schultz, the same grave Beatrix Kiddo will escape from more than 100 years later.

shlabam asked: If they made a movie of your life, who would you want to direct it?

Oh man, that’s kinda tough. Mostly because I’m not super familiar with a lot of directors. Haha

I suppose it depends on the tone of the movie. If I’m going for nerdiness/getting details exactly right, Joss Whedon or Edgar Wright (even though I feel incredibly lame and transparent for saying that).
If I’m going for overall feel/nostalgia(?), I’d choose Sofia Coppola. Or MAYBE Wes Anderson even though his movies tend to be on the ridiculous side stylistically.

I would also be happy if Jon Favreau, Kenneth Branagh, or Judd Apatow were at the helm.

Now that I’ve actually listed all those people, if I’d have to narrow it down, I’d be choosing between Sofia Coppola and Judd Apatow.

Leonardo DiCaprio cut his hand while the cameras were rolling on the set of Django Unchained and kept moving through the scene, never breaking character, and  his real-life bloodied hand made it into the final version of the film. During one take of that scene, DiCaprio unintentionally slammed his hand into glass, creating a gash that later required stitches. But that didn’t stop him from doing his job. As his hand bled quite visibly, DiCaprio kept going, even using the hand as a new dramatic prop. At one point he smears his bloodied hand over Broomhilda’s face in an act of evil dominance. And Broomhilda (Kerry Washington) looks horrified as he does it. (Perhaps Washington wasn’t acting!) And that was the take that director Quentin Tarantino kept in the film. (Source)
