37: [What are some] Tattoos and piercings I want
I don’t really want any piercings, but I always kinda thought a different version of myself would get any of the following: eyebrow(s), bunch’a different stuff on my ears, lip.
As far as tattoos go, I actually have ideas. I want the name of the dojo I used to go to (Destiny Arts) in Japanese (because I mainly studied Japanese martial arts) on my spine right under my neck. I also want something to commemorate The Trip to Bountiful and Coronado, the two plays I was in spring semester senior year. One of the few last images of Bountiful was a stump the main character sits on; it’s one of the only things left in the yard of her childhood home. I was thinking I’d get a wire frame stump, and in the creases of the stump, have a red diamond shape to represent Coronado, because finding a diamond is the driving plot point of my character Bobby’s and his father’s storyline. I don’t know where I’d put that one, though — I want it somewhere I can see, but is easily covered with clothes or make-up. Right now I’m thinking on the lower left of my ribcage so it’s close to my heart, but not where a bunch of hair is. Haha
59: Do I have any strange phobias?
I don’t know if it’s a legit phobia, but I get really uncomfortable any time anyone talks about weird genetic diseases or things you can’t always do something about, like cancer. I didn’t know how much it affected me ‘til junior year when we got to the cancer unit in my biology class. I was really squeamish the whole two weeks. :/
60. Do I prefer to stay behind the camera or in front of it?
I like both. I’m not a director, but I love taking photos, and I’m developing a taste for filming (though I still don’t know much about the technical aspects of that). I haven’t done much film acting, but I just auditioned for a small indie film, and will hopefully hear from them soon… I really wanna start getting into it, since my eventual goal is to move to LA. As an aside, I always wish I could clone myself as far as taking photos goes, because every time I need headshots or I’m taking photos of a bunch of friends, it’s like, “Welp, I either need to pay someone” or “I wish I could be in the photo with them and still know it’ll be good.” Ehheh
142. How did I get one of my scars?
I have a small scar on the underside of my left forearm. I was walking to school in fourth grade, and there was a woman walking a big black lab. I reached out to pet it, and it sniffed my hand, then bit me. I ran up the sidewalk a little bit and tried to show the woman, but it hurt too much so I went to run back home, since it was only a couple blocks. I stepped into the street to start running, and the dog lunged out and bit me on the other arm. There used to be a scar, but it faded/tanned over after a while because it was more of a graze.
I made it home and the police came to take pictures of the wounds. I found out later I disappeared too fast, so the woman couldn’t do anything about me and I guess just sat there and panicked for a while. She had gotten the dog very recently from the pound, and it had a history of biting, I think. It ended up having to be put down.
